Police are looking for a man they say shot and wounded a man last night in a home invasion. He is also wanted for an armed robbery at the Worth Inn a couple of weeks ago.
Detectives say that 27-year-old Bobby Drayton, Jr. broke in on the residents at 101 Cotton Street last night and started shooting.
"We really don't have anything to put our finger on as to what the reason [was] or cause as to why," said Lt Ronnie Graddy. "Hopefully we can catch him and stop it."
Arthur L. Hill was hit by a bullet and was treated and released from the hospital.
Drayton is 5'11" and weighs 145 lbs.
Here is the release issued by the Sylvester Police Department-
On 8/30/2012 at approximately 11:00 p.m., Drayton entered residence located at 101 Cotton Street in Sylvester, Georgia and assaulted four individuals within the residence by use of a firearm.
One of the individuals, Arthur Lawrence Hill, was shot and taken to Phoebe Worth Medical Center where he was treated for his injuries and released.
Drayton fled from the scene on foot. Drayton is the same individual that we have active warrants on for the 08/09/2012, Armed Robbery at the Worth Inn in Sylvester, Georgia.
Drayton should be considered Armed and Dangerous.
