The Flint River Chapter of the American Red Cross is sending their Emergency Response Vehicle to assist those displaced by Hurricane Isaac.
They'll be stationed in Port Allen, Louisiana for a week Both volunteers will feed the hungry and help with clean up efforts throughout the city.
Helping those in need is the motivation behind why most people volunteer. "People are in bad shape down there. I feel like it's my responsibility to help out," said Thomas Kondratick, Volunteer. @
