The Flint River Chapter of the American Red Cross has been called to send an emergency response vehicle to Louisiana.
Officials received their deployment orders this afternoon.
Disaster volunteer Tom Kondratick and one other volunteer will leave Albany in the morning with the ERV, which is loaded with supplies for the clean up and aftermath following Hurricane Isaac.
Red Cross officials are not sure yet where in Louisiana their vehicle will be deployed.
