Wreck closes Moultrie bypass

MOULTRIE, GA (WALB) -

From the Georgia Department of Transportation

An overturned Tractor Trailer Closes S.R. 111 Bypass Lane west of Moultrie.

A tractor trailer transporting cat litter has overturned resulting in the closure of one SR 111 Bypass southbound lane.

The load is being manually transferred to another truck and will require considerable time to complete, possibly as long as six hours.

Delays are expected and motorists are urged to avoid the area.

Schools with buses using that corridor have been notified.
