ASHBURN, GA (WALB) -

A popular south Georgia business known for its sausage and meat is growing.

Carroll's Sausage and Country store is putting finishing touches on a new store off I-75 in Ashburn.

The store will have a small restaurant and will sell a wide array of Georgia food products.

The owner says it will be a great place for folks to stop by.

"First of all, the best old-fashioned customer service you can expect hopefully up and down this whole interstate," said owner Hugh Hardy. "Good products, we're carrying a full line of Georgia grown products. As well as fresh cut meat. A lot of our meat will come from right here in Georgia."

Work on the exterior of the building is complete. They're still stocking, decorating, and finishing up on the inside.

They hope to open by next Tuesday.
