We've got some good news out there for you job seekers. There is a job fair in Albany today at the Hilton Gardens Inn.
The local unemployment rate is at 10.5 percent and this job fair comes right on time. G2 Secure Staff is looking to fill positions here at the Albany Regional Airport.
They're hiring for Ramp Service Agents and Passenger Service Agents. Qualified applicants must have a diploma, computer experience and reliable transportation among other things.
Of course, you should come dressed to impress with a resume and references. The job pays $9.00 an hour and includes paid vacation time.
We don't know how many positions they have open so you might want to get there early. The job fair starts today at 8:30 and ends at 3:00pm.
The good news is qualified candidates could be hired on the spot after an interview. The bad news is those hired will not receive flight benefits.
