Thomasville hops for a better start in 2012

The Thomasville Bulldogs are hoping for a better start to the season after going winless in its first two games last year.  The Bulldogs bring back five starters on both sides of the ball including Deion Sanders and Mario Cherry who will carry the load at running back. Sophomore Kyle King will take the snaps at the quarterback position.

On defense, a strong linebacker core will feature Dreshawn Fans, Shawn Harper and Colby Marsh.  Head coach Richie Marsh knows the expectations for Thomasville every season is always high no matter how many starters they have returning and that its all part of the rich Bulldog football tradition

Marsh said "To be honest every year Thomasville we're going to have the guys to make the run at it. We have to do a little better with our leadership in the locker room and off the field. We feel if those things take place then we can back to where we've been deep in the playoffs."

Bulldogs open the season on Saturday at TC Central.
