ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
The Albany Fire Department 2013 calendar is hot off the presses. You can buy one to help charity.
13 Albany firefighters posed for the calendar in partial firefighting gear.
All the money from sales will go to the Salvation Army and A Place For Hope, the Salvation Army's day shelter to help the homeless get back on their feet.
The calendar also is full of fire prevention tips.
"We want to try to educate the public, the best we can," said AOE Donald Jackson. "It's just a reminder, of fire safety tips. To educate the public."
The calendars are $12 each and can be purchased at the department's Downtown Headquarters on North Jackson Street, Station Six on Meredyth Drive, and P-T Gym on Dawson Road.
Firefighters are also planning an autograph signing in September.
