Early voting is over and tomorrow is your last chance to vote. More than 20 races around South Georgia will be to decided to determine who will end up on the ballot in November.

Some of those big races include picking a Republican nominee for Congress in the second district, Democratic candidates for sheriff in Baker, Early, and Quitman Counties, and a Republican candidate for Tift County Sheriff.

But in Albany, early voter turnout wasn't as high as hoped.

"We only had one week of early voting and the turn out for the week was 31, it was a total of 31 voters that came out for the 5 days that we were open," says Election Supervisor Ginger Nickerson.

Nickerson is in charge of Voter Registration and Elections for Albany and Dougherty County and says she hopes that number will increase tomorrow.

"We hope that everyone is interested because this is a big election. This is leading up for the November election, who will be on that ballot, that final ballot, so we want everyone to participate in that who wants to speak so their voice be heard," says Nickerson.

She says people who voted on a non-partisan ballot or didn't cast a ballot at all are eligible to vote tomorrow. And she hopes it's a big turnout.

"Everybody's vote counts, yes, that is your voice. We ask that you come out and speak loud."

Precincts will be available in every city and county from 7am to 7pm tomorrow. To find out where you vote, visit sos.georgia.gov/elections/
