For years, the area right across the street from the RiverQuarium has been rundown, but that's changing.

We're following a developing story of an overnight business burglary. Aunt Fannie's Restaurant on Byron Road is the latest business to be hit by burglars.

We're working to gather more information. So far we know APD responded to 826 Byron Road because of a burglary.

After arriving, police discovered someone had broken into Aunt Fannie's Restaurant through a window and stole a laptop.

Police have yet to release a description of the suspects. APD is still looking for crooks who hit Ronnie's Rib and Chicken Shack.

In that case, burglars stole food from the business. We'll keep following this story. Look for updates on walb.com.
