The first ever Southwest Georgia music and arts festival has announced a portion of their music lineup.
The SOWEGA Music and Arts Festival is falling into place.
Organizers for Georgia Throwdown say among the three stage performances will be national headliners such as Drive By Truckers, Rhett Akins, Dallas Davidson, Colt Ford, Corey Smith, and Easton Corbin.
Negotiations with major "national headliners" are still ongoing.
Organizers plan to sign 100 bands for the three days at the Exchange Club Fairgrounds October 12th through the 14th.
Tickets are $45 dollars for individual day passes and $85 dollars for weekend passes purchased online.
Free tent camping will be available with the purchase of a weekend pass.
Also booked to perform at the Throwdown are local and regional acts like Evan Barber & the Dead Gamblers, Another Alien Astronaut, the Evergreen Family Band, Cole Taylor, Bo Henry Band, Relapse, Marty Evans Band, J Blues Band, Rhyal Knight, Col Bruce Hampton, Tony Brook Band, Relapse, and Caylee Anna.
