Police in Ashburn make a chilling discovery during a traffic stop. Officers found handguns, drugs, a batman mask and a wig.
Ashburn Police Department's traffic unit stopped a car traveling southbound on I-75 for speeding around 3 o'clock yesterday afternoon.
During a search, officers found two handguns, a batman mask, a wig, and cocaine and marijuana.
The driver, Timothy Thomas from Fayetteville was arrested and charged with possession, manufacture, and distribution of cocaine, and possession of less than an ounce of marijuana.
He's also charged with driving on a suspended license, and seatbelt violation. Officers say they don't know where Thomas was going or why he had the disguise in his car. Thomas is in the Turner County jail. His bond is set at $4,100.
