The Darton men's soccer team has a goal of being the best team in the nation in the Junior College ranks.
They could probably do well at the Division I level.
The Darton men defeated Georgia Southern 1-0 in an exhibition game Friday at Statesboro.
Jowayne Laidley scored the Darton goal in the 26th minute of play.
Darton goal keepers Carlos Catano and Daryl Sack combined to make five saves with the Eagles getting 14 shots on goal.
The match was shorted by ten minutes due to rain.
