An Albany certified public accountant is charged with identity fraud and forgery, accused of stealing her sister's identity to get a driver's license.

Police say Nicole Morris's driver's license was suspended, so she used her sister's birth certificate and social security card to get a new license in her sister's name, but with her picture.

Police say they are seeing more of this type of identity fraud.

"The motivation behind it is that people themselves have gotten their license suspended or taken for some reason. Or they can't even get a license.  So they are actually obtaining other people's information and then just like they would do with any other fraud," said Captain Thomas Jackson, Dougherty County Police.

Morris's sister contacted Police when she received two speeding tickets and identified her sister from patrol car video.

The Department of Driver's Services and DFACS are investigating Morris for other potential identity fraud.
