A home was damaged during a late Thursday afternoon thunderstorm In Worth County.
Part of a big pecan tree crashed through the roof of a home on Doles Road and into the living room and master bedroom closet.
The owner told us the tree had been struck by lightning in the past.
He was in the process of taking down the tree.
"I decided to go up there and play squirrel and take out some of the tree and we had taken down approximately a third of it and now a third of it has fallen on my house," said Philip Colson.
