A new attraction at Radium Springs Gardens could attract more people to the recognized as one of the seven natural wonders of Georgia.

A new butterfly garden is a partnership between Dougherty County, Albany Technical College and the Southwest Georgia Master Gardeners.

It's a way to enhance the beauty of Radium Springs and teach people how to make their own butterfly garden.

"Everyone loves butterflies and what better symbol for Radium Springs than a butterfly..a rebirth. I think all of us at some point in our lives want a rebirth," said Suzanna Macintosh, Master Gardener.

They also plan to use the demonstration garden for education programs for kids... And they'll start a series of fall walks on the first Saturday in October.
