BACONTON, GA (WALB) -

The Georgia State Patrol is investigating a two-car wreck that happened on U.S. 19 South in Baconton.

GSP got the call about the crash shortly after 7:30 Thursday morning. Troopers say the driver of a Camaro failed to yield at the stop sign on Daniel Street and crashed into an Isuzu truck on Highway 19 South.

Two adults and one child were taken to the Mitchell County Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Troopers plan to release the names of those involved later Thursday afternoon.

Traffic was slowed down because of the crash, but opened a short time later. Mitchell County Deputies directed traffic as the wrecked cars were towed from the road.
