Albany Police are investigating a smash and grab burglary at 1101 Clark Avenue. It happened at Barbra Brooks Beauty Salon just before 2am.
Someone who lives in the area called police after hearing glass break and seeing someone running from the business. As police arrived, they found someone had broken the front window to get inside.
We're told by the owner off camera the only thing that was taken was a jar full of change. It's estimated the jar had $50 inside it.
The owner is having to replace that window.
