A telecommunications company is teaming up with an Albany church to feed 400 families, Friday morning.

The folks at the First Apostolic Church in East Albany will host Teleperfomance's Annual Feed the Children Food Drop.

They'll hand out food and hygiene products to the first 400 people there.

Organizers say it's a good way to give back to the community.

"Nationwide, we're having a hard time economically. Our area is very impoverished, so we'd like to give back in our own community and this is our way of doing so," said Event Organizer Keesa Thomas.

In order to receive a voucher to obtain food and supplies, you must provide proper identification such as a driver's license or a state issued ID.

The giveaway begins at 10 am Friday at First Apostolic Church at 421 Lumpkin Street.
