MILLER CO., GA (WALB) -

Two teenagers in Miller County are accused of stealing stacks of newspapers and burning them.

18-year old Sabrina Granade and 18-year old William Ty Sheffield are charged with theft by taking.

Investigators say they stole papers from newspaper vending boxes around town, burned them in a field, and posted pictures of act on Facebook.

The newspaper editor says the teens stole the papers because of a story on the front page about Sabrina Granade.

"It was concerning a girl who had been texting and she hit a pole and knocked a telephone pole down, and she got a DUI too," says Terry Toole, Miller County Liberal Editor.

Toole says the thieves not only stole from him but kept loyal readers who buy newspapers each week from getting their news.
