TIFTON, GA (WALB) -

Thousands of students will start heading back to Tifton Wednesday to move in at ABAC.

Classes start at the college next week. They had their last day of orientation for new students Tuesday.

School officials say more than 3,000 students are enrolled and their test scores are the best they've ever had. The president says this year could be the best ever for the Stallions.

"Things are constantly changing here at the college," said ABAC President Dr. David Bridges. "More students are staying with us for the third and fourth year. That's a good thing. We really like that. We have a better prepared class, probably than ever before."

Incoming freshman at ABAC will go through the Fall convocation to kick off their college careers Sunday. Dr. Bridges says the school's goal is to make an ABAC diploma more valuable than ever.
