ALBANY, GA (WALB) -

A manager of an Albany bank is accused of stealing more than $30,000 from the account of a 95 year old bank customer.

40 year old Susan Taylor covered her head with her sweater as she was led in handcuffs from the Dougherty County Sheriff's Office.

Sheriff's Investigators say from September until July, Taylor was the branch team leader for Region's Bank on West Broad Avenue and during most of that time withdrew $400 once or twice a day from 95 year old Greta Rogers' account.

Investigators say these bank surveillance photos of Rogers making the ATM withdrawals led to her arrest. A relative noticed the problem with Rogers' account and called authorities.

Dougherty County Sheriff's Investigator Lt. Anita Allen said "the victim had a CD account, which she would go in and create an account and take money from the CD. Transfer it to a checking account, and would go and withdraw the money from an ATM machine."

Taylor was arrested Monday morning in Bainbridge where she now works at a bank branch. She is charged with six counts of felony theft by taking, and two counts of misdemeanor theft. None of the more than $30,000 she stole was recovered.
