Georgia receiver and now cornerback Malcolm Mitchell is going to have to learn time management during preseason practice.
Malcolm Mitchell expected to start the season playing cornerback on defense.
Mitchell worked exclusively at defense during the spring but in fall camp the now two way star is also going to have to spend some time working on offense at the receiver position.
He was heavily recruited out of Valdosta High as a defensive back and says the coaching change prior to his senior year is helping him adjust to playing both sides of the football at Georgia.
Malcolm Mitchell said. "I have a lot of work to do. I think the coaches will manage it well. Hopefully, it is not a big stress. I know it will take a lot more focus."
Georgia will hold Fan Day on August 18th.
The season opener is 12:20pm (WALB NBC) against Buffalo on September 1st at Sanford Stadium.
