People gather to bring attention to one of many unsolved murders of women in Coffee County.

It was a month ago today that a young Cordele woman was beaten during a robbery at Lake Blackshear and her mother is asking for help.

Nikki Garland was beaten during a holdup at The Retreat at Lake Blackshear July 3rd.

WALB showed surveillance video from that violent robbery.

Two men rushed in just before two a.m., took money, then one of them beat Nikki in the head and back. She suffered a concussion.

The robbers still haven't been caught and now, Nikki's mother, Lorri, has created a website to raise money to help her daughter with psychological counseling.
