Thomasville Police are looking for two men who attempted to rob a store, scaring customers and clerks.
There was a huge voting turnout in Lowndes County today. The largest precinct in the county was packed all day.
Before noon, election officials said over 400 people had already come to the Trinity Presbyterian Church precinct. One topic on the minds of Valdostans, T-SPLOST.
"I'm going to vote against T-SPLOST, because there again I just think we need to do some cutting and not adding taxes," said voter Jane Hearn.
Lowndes County election officials say they expected more than 5,000 people at the polls today.
