CUTHBERT, GA (WALB) -

Randolph County's had its share of rough weather this week with thunderstorms rolling through the last couple of days.

Back-to-back thunderstorms damaged trees in the area.

The skies were dark again Friday afternoon with scattered wind and rain.

The sheriff's office says most of the downed trees were in the county, and that drivers need to be especially careful on roads where trees have grown along the side.

With the wind whipping the way it does, and the gusts that we have here lately, they could fall over and hit the car with you in it," said Randolph County Sheriff Gary Yochum. "You need to be really particular about where you go. If you don't have to move out, don't move out."

The Sheriff says they have not had any injuries from the storms. He wants drivers to use good judgement before getting on the roads.
