
Georgia's Sepp Straka is headed to the United States Amateur.
The former Lowndes High Viking finished second in a qualifier at the Piedmont Driving Club.
Straka shot a 133 and finished in second.
One shot behind Georgia Tech's Oliver Schniederjans.
Straka is one of six players from the qualifying tournament who have earned a berth in the U.S. Amateur that begins in three weeks in Colorado.
Straka earlier this summer played in the U.S. Amateur Public Links championship.
