A political watchdog group wants you to vote "yes" Tuesday to stop unlimited lobbyist spending on gifts to legislators.
Voters in next week's primaries will be able to, for the first-time, vote on capping gift giving in the state. One man said he was there to support ethical government spending, and hoping that future decisions will benefit his daughter.
"Now I have to think about her future, me I'll take care of myself, but that's what I worry about," said supporter Kristopher Sauls.
"The question will be, should we end the practice of unlimited gift giving from lobbyist to legislators, and polling has showed us that 82 percent of people support that," said Director of Common Cause Georgia Director, William Perry.
Georgia is one of three states in the country that has no gift cap limit.
