Albany’s “Call to Service” now online

The city of Albany is trying to make it easier for you to find ways to improve the community.

The city now has a special web page for Mayor Dorothy Hubbard's Call to Service.

It gives details on service contracts, procedures for conducting projects and project reporting forms.

It should answer frequently asked questions on how to play a part in cleaning up Albany.

"It has contracts for groups that want to help, we have reporting forms to help keep up with who's doing this and who does it well because we want to reward them," said Albany Assistant City Manager Wes Smith.
