We're following a developing story about an overnight lover's quarrel. It happened in Albany shortly after 4am and once it was over, two people were taken to the hospital.
The two people taken to the hospital have non-life threatening injuries. APD says a man and his girlfriend got into a fight at 1307 West Whitney Avenue.
Somehow his family got involved and it turned violent. Neighbors say they heard the woman screaming for help across the street.
We're told as his girlfriend was trying to leave, she accidentally hit two people with her car. They were transported by ambulance to Phoebe Putney Memorial Hospital.
Charges are pending as police continue to sort this out. Police say even though the woman hit two people with her car, she is the victim. APD says she was just trying to leave the scene.
