ATLANTA, GA (WALB) -
The Georgia State Judicial Qualifications Commission has reprimanded Judge Willie Weaver for an altercation with his wife last May.
The body issued the reprimand last Wednesday.
Weaver is a Municipal Court Judge in Albany, Dawson, and Sylvester. The Commission said they were making public the fact that Weaver was reprimanded for his behavior, but would not make public the wording of their reprimand.
The Commission says that it is balancing its responsibility to the public and Weaver's discredit to himself and the judicial system.
