2012 is the first year Georgians have been able to vote on a Saturday, and July 21 is your one weekend chance for the upcoming primary elections.
Early voting started three weeks and continues through next Friday.
Dougherty County Elections Supervisor Ginger Nickerson said, "There's no voting on a Monday before an election, and that's July 30th, so we ask all those individuals who are ready to cast those ballots early do so by July 27th that Friday."
Nickerson says turnout for early voting in the county has been strong.
