DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -
A south Georgia singing sensation narrowly missed winning a national singing competition, and the major-label recording contract that came with it, Thursday night.
John Glosson from Douglas finished second on the final episode of Duets on ABC.
Sugarland's Jennifer Nettles, also from Coffee County, picked Glosson as one of two amateurs to sing with her throughout the competition. The winner was Nettles other partner, J Rome.
Congratulations to John for doing so well and making south Georgia proud.
