Demolition crews hope to have what's left of the old Heritage House Hotel down next Friday.

Five workers with Oxford Construction have been tearing down the eyesore for three weeks.

Area business owners say Oxford has done everything possible to keep dust down to avoid interrupting their business.

Crews put up a barrier next to Green Light Auto to prevent any windows from breaking from falling debris on Thursday.

"We wanted to watch everything closer..but we will step outside and look around the barrier.  But they did that for our protection, so we are thankful for that," said Green Light Auto manager Ryan Ellsworth.

After crews get the building down and clear the rubble, they'll will put grass over the entire area.
