DOUGLAS, GA (WALB) -
Douglas police don't believe a teenager who shot and killed himself at Coffee Regional Hospital meant to do it.
They think the shooting was an accident.
Police say about 8 o'clock last Thursday night, 16-year-old Dakota Porter pulled out a gun and ended up shooting himself in the head.
Six other people were in the hospital room at the time.
The victim was airlifted to a Savannah hospital where he died.
