An Albany man donates bicycles and basketballs to be given to kids at National Night Out and he challenges other people to match his gift.
On Thursday afternoon, retired teacher and coach Jesse Massey delivered four bikes and seven basketballs to Dougherty County Police headquarters.
He bought them as part of his goal to do 100 good deeds in one year.
Police will give the items out as prizes during National Night Out, a community event where first responders help get kids ready for school and fight crime.
"I want all of the other fraternities and sororities to step up and buy at least one bike, so the officers can have a great team on August 2nd, giving away items to the kids," said Jesse Massey, Retired Teacher.
Dougherty County Police are accepting donations for National Night Out.
They especially need school supplies.
The event will be August 2nd at Radium Springs Middle School from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m.
