A three year old boy was pulled from a bath tub at 918 Riley Street about 12:20PM, and rushed to Phoebe Putney Hospital.
Zantailus Mickens, Jr. was then air lifted to Scottish Rite Hospital in Atlanta.
Four children were in the house, being kept by their mother, Audriana Jenkins.
Zantailus was in the tub, and she diverted her attention to the other children for a moment, and the little boy slid under the water.
Police are investigating the case as a near drowning.
The mother is distraught, but cooperating with investigators.
