
Lee County National is the only area team still kicking in the Dixie State Baseball Tournaments and it was Aaron Greene who pitched a gem on the mound to get Lee County into the Major finals. Greene struck out the side to end the game against Troup National, 2-1.
Greene was on fire Thursday striking out 14 of the 18 batters he saw in the game.
Greene said "I just wanted to get it done. I just wanted to get it done."
The Lee County Nationals will play the Winder-Troup American winner for the Major state title. Winder got there after beating Warner Robins 11-1 on Wednesday.
Over in the Ozone Semifinals, Perry snips Baldwin 4-3 and Columbia sneaks by Mill Creek American 10-7 setting up a Perry vs Columbia final starting at 5:30pm on Thursday.
