ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
Call it bulletin board material or not but after winning the SIAC East division last season the Albany State football team has been picked to finish second this year. Morehouse has been projected to be the favorite in the East.
ASU beat Morehouse by 10 last year, but its seems like the conference may expect the Rams to regress after losing some quality talent this off-season. But head coach Mike White says regardless of the projections it will be business as usual.
White said "Expectations are always high for us. We'll have a lot of improving that we'll have to do our past defense was maybe the worst ever last year. We think we'll be much improved there and defensively excuse my offensively we think we're going to be in pretty good shape."
Defending conference champs Miles was picked to finish 1st in the West division.
