THOMASVILLE, GA (WALB) - As early voting continues around the state, many counties are reporting strong turnout.
This week, you can not only vote during the week but on Saturday as well.
Election officials in Thomas County expect a large turnout during the one Saturday voting day, but say they've already had an above average turnout.
"It allows for you to come in and vote at your convenience. The lines are very short. And you can choose your time to vote and not just stand in line on election day, as we did years ago," said Elections Supervisor Phillip Henry.
Henry says the Thomas County race getting the most attention so far has been the District Six County Commission Race.
