Albany Tech added a new addition to their campus that will enhance the academic success of its students.
The Academic Achievement Center, located in Freedom hall officially opened Tuesday.
The center offers tutoring for students with the latest technology to prepare them for college level work and beyond. The Dean of the center says they will have the ability to help students get back on track.
"We have the ability to remediate these people or to kind of get them back up to speed, to kind of refresh their, their learning modules if you will," said Elaine Mercer, Dir. of Academic Achievement Ctr.
For three years branches of the Academic Achievement Center were spread out on campus.
Renovations on this building started 18 months ago and the staff says now they're glad to all be in one place.
