Albany Police are investigating an overnight smash and grab, and damage to another business.
APD responded to Harvey's Supermarket and La Lupita Restaurant on Sylvester Road shortly before 4am.
Police were at both businesses collecting evidence and dusting for fingerprints. APD responded to Harvey's at 2425 Sylvester Road because of an alarm.
After arriving, they noticed someone had broken the front glass doors. According to Police, nothing was taken and security camera's caught everything on tape.
APD will release more details later.
While at Harvey's, police discovered someone had also tried to break into the La Lupita Mexican Restaurant. The restaurant is in the same plaza as Harvey's.
Police say someone broke the front glass door, but were not able to get inside. We're working to find out if police think both of these crimes are related.
