
Douglas' Tyreek Hill has emerged as one of the top junior sprinters in the world this spring.
Hill looking to finish off a big spring and summer by taking gold at the World Junior Track and Field championships in Barcelona, Spain this week.
Tyreek Hill won his semifinal heat in the 100 meters Wednesday afternoon.
In the finals, Tyreek Hill placed fourth with a time of 10.29.
He misses a bronze medal by .01 with Odean Skeen of Jamaica finishing third.
Great Britain's Adam Gemili won the gold and Aaron Ernest from the USA took the silver.
Tyreek Hill now starts his best event the 200 meters with prelims and semifinals on Thursday.
Hill has run the fastest 200 meter time in the world this year for a junior.
