    For years, the area right across the street from the RiverQuarium has been rundown, but that's changing.

The former Palmyra Hospital in Albany will be used for women's and children's services.

The Phoebe board says having one hospital and two campuses will allow them enough space to expand critical care services and at the same time room for a world's class women's and children's hospital

"We have a neonatal intensive care unit but we don't have a pediatric intensive care unit, so many sick kids actually get sent out to other cities for more intensive care that we are not providing here," said Steven Wolinsky, Chief of Staff.

Inpatient rehabilitation is also moving to Phoebe North this month.
