RANDOLPH CO., GA (WALB) -

We have an amazing visual from Randolph County over the weekend.

Beekeeper Dale Richter was called in to help get rid of a huge yellow jackets nest. Thousands of yellow jackets pelted the side of the truck he was in.

While this hive is impressive, he says there was an even bigger one nearby.

"That is one of the larger ones I have ever seen," said Richter. "It is probably as big as one of the largest ones I have ever seen. It actually was much bigger than the one of the video. It went back into the embankment about three or four feet, back into the embankment."

He says if you're attacked by that many yellow jackets, you would almost certainly die.

Richter says there are more yellow jackets this year after our mild winter.

He says you need to be aware of your surroundings and leave those nests alone.
