AFD battles two fires

A house on the corner of West Residence and North Jackson caught fire about 3:00PM.

Multiple fire crews are working to put the fire out. Four fire trucks are on scene.

EMS is on the scene in case any of the fire fighters get over heated. The house appears to be vacant.

Meanwhile another structure at 1803 Samford Drive is on fire. WALB is enroute to the scene.
