TERRELL COUNTY, GA (WALB) -

Dogs at the Terrell County Animal Shelter will be spared for another week. The pardon that was keeping these animals alive past their euthanization dates, has been extended through July 14th.

The group "Paws for Hope and Faith" is working to save these homeless animals at Terrell County Animal Shelter.

Shane and Janet Smith travel the country helping shelters. The Terrell County shelter pardoned all their dogs in June while the Smiths worked to find them homes.

They've had such success, they decided to extend the pardon to give these dogs a chance at finding a loving home.
