UPDATED:

Two arrests have been made in the shooting of an Albany man. 

21 year-old Antwon Smith and 21 year-old Shanard Smith (not related) have been charged with burglary, aggravated assault, armed robbery and possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime. 

Shanard was arrested at about 11:30 this morning and Antwon was arrested around 6:45 pm.

An Albany man is sent to the hospital after getting shot in the face. Police say just before 4 this morning, they received a call about a burglary and shooting at 1511 Cordell Avenue.

William Stephens says he was in his house when 6 black men forced into his home. As he was running away, one of the men shot him, striking him in the face.

He received a minor facial wound to his left cheek. He was treated by EMS and transported to Phoebe Putney Hospital. The circumstances surrounding the shooting remain under investigation.
