With early voting beginning on Monday, some candidates are using the weekend to mingle with voters before they go to the polls.
Dougherty County school board candidate, Dr. Lane Price hosted a cookout off of Lexington Street Saturday afternoon.
She says being available to parents and students all over the county is her number one priority. She says it has been an honor to run in a clean race.
"As we look at all of the campaigns going right now, everyone of them has been clean an honorable," Price said. "I think that is because the people who are running are honorable people."
Dr. Price is running against incumbent Dr. Anita Williams-Brown for the at large position on the Albany-Dougherty school board.
