ALBANY, GA (WALB) -
While many South Georgia restaurants are struggling to get by, one Albany favorite has moved to a new, larger location. Moe's will have a grand opening Saturday.
After nine years on Dawson Road, the Moe's Southwest Grill in Albany has moved to North Westover Boulevard in the old Office Max building, next to the Mall.
Employees were putting the final touches on the new restaurant location Friday.
They have all new furniture and serving lines, an outdoor patio, and soon will have a drive thru lane. The owner thinks the new location will be a big winner.
"By the mall," said Moe's owner Mac Hare. "You can see the store from the bypass, so there is 30,000 to 40,000 cars down there everyday. We're hoping to get a little more traffic from the travelers come through and seeing Moe's. "
Moe's will open their new location at 11AM Saturday.
